Identify downhole changes to mitigate reservoir and completion problems
Distributed temperature sensing (DTS) and distributed pressure measurements over extended intervals can identify the source of changes in well performance as they occur, enabling accurate diagnostics on gas lift systems; helping to monitor completion integrity; and quickly identifying a faulty valve, unstable flow, inflow, and outflow without interrupting production.
Distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) technology measures vibrations, enabling detection of seismic events and small flow changes that are difficult to capture with conventional DTS technology. The data helps to calibrate inflow profiling and can distinguish, for example, gas or solids (sand) from liquid flow.
